Summary
A set of late Victorian postal scales with a metal mainframe, along with removable scale pan, set on a rectangular walnut base, out of which three circular incisions have been made for the placement of seven accompaying weights. Three white discs on the mainframe list weights of differing postage forms to cost, in pennies and shillings.

Purchased from the estate of the late Lord Wraxall with the assistance of the NHMF and donations from members and supporters.
