One of a pair of green glass vases enamelled by Phillippe Joseph Brocard in the Islamic style made for the first annual London International Exhibition 1871 and illustrated in the catalogue. Signed and dated; Brocard 1871.
Provenance
In the collection of Antony Gibbs at Charlton 1884 (photograph). Purchased from the estate of the late Lord Wraxall with the assistance of the NHMF and donations from members and supporters.
