Portrait miniature, watercolour painting on ivory, Emma Blount, Mrs Henry Matthews (1793-1861) by J. W. Slater (fl.1806-1831). c.1818. Rectangular. Half-length portrait of a young woman, turned to the left, gazing at the spectator, wearing a low-cut blue dress with white sleeves. Blue eyes, light brown hair wih Apollo knot, smiling expression, aged about 25. Tempestuous background. Emma was mother fo Henry Viscount Llandaff and Mary Matthews.
