Summary
A walnut and upholstered armchair, English, circa 1870, with buttoned back and low scroll-over arms either side of a serpentine-fronted stuff-over seat, raised to the front on turned and fluted supports fitted with brown ceramic castors. Upholstered in brown and grey moquette, and with loose printed linen cover in coral jacquard patter.

Given by Henry Hornyold Strickland (1890 – 1975) with Sizergh Castle and its estates in 1950.
