Summary
A mahogany kneehole desk, English, circa 1840, the top with low scroll-over three-quarter gallery, a short drawer above the kneehole, each pedestal of four graduated short drawers, and on a mahogany-veneered plinth base. The drawers with thread escutcheons of brass.

Given to the National Trust by Henry Hornyold Strickland (1890 – 1975) with Sizergh Castle and its estates in 1950.
