Summary
An oak library bookcase, English, second quarter 19th century, decorated in the Gothic Revival manner, and having a moulded cornice with projecting turret corners above cluster columns flanking four glazed doors, each enclosing adjustable shelves, the projecting lower section also with projecting turret corners above cluster columns and flanking four paneled door, each decorated with applied mouldings forming pointed arches and oculi spandrels, raised on a plinth base.
