A Victorian white-painted washstand, or dressing table, English, circa 1870, the top with later formica cover and shaped three-quarter gallery fitted with a shallow shelf, above three graduated long drawers, with base moulding, and four turned feet.
Provenance
Given to the National Trust by Henry Hornyold Strickland (1890 – 1975) with Sizergh Castle and its estates in 1950.
