Summary
An oak form, or bench, English, probably 18th/19th century, once a long stool, or form, later re-modelled to fit a corner. The simple plank top with three solid supports with concave front edge and underside, forming feet.
Provenance
Photographed in front on the (now re-located) screen dated 1558 in the Lower Hall in Country Life in 1906. Given by Henry Hornyold Strickland (1890 – 1975) with Sizergh Castle and its estates in 1950.
