Summary
An open bookcase, one of a pair of satinwood, ebonized and cane open bookcases, England, early 19th century. With ebonized edges, and a small shallow shelf above three further deeper shelves in front of cane lining, on a plinth inlaid with ebonized stars and raised on four vase-shaped reeded feet on small ebonized pads.
