Summary

An oak and mahogany candle stand, or pedestal table. The dished mahogany top probably not original to the base, and probably 18th century. The turned shaft and three downswept supports probably early to mid-19th century.

Provenance

Given by Henry Hornyold Strickland (1890 – 1975) with Sizergh Castle and its estates in 1950.
