Summary
A library bookcase, one of a pair of mahogany library bookcases, English, circa 1840. Each having a moulded cornice set down from the very top edge, above a pair of glazed doors enclosing shelves, the projecting lower section of two paneled cupboard doors with applied half-round beading between plain pilasters, and raised on a plinth base. Some of the veneers are plum pudding mahogany.
