Summary
An ebony, ebonized and ivory-inlaid marble-topped tall chest of drawers, North Italian, 19th century, the inlay imitating 18th century styles. Topped by a purple and white-veined marble slab, above five long drawers inlaid with cherubs between tendrils of flowers, including tulips, the uprights inlaid with ivory roundels engraved with the heads of Renaissance warriors. All raised on a plinth and bracket feet.
