Summary
A mahogany, fruitwood and ebonized secretaire a abattant, Dutch, early 19th century. The hinged top concealing a well faced as a projecting floral marquetry inlaid frieze drawer above a fall-front decorated with musical trophies within floral marquetry borders. The fall enclosing marquetry-inlaid drawers. A pair of cupboard doors below with conforming marquetry. All flanked by a pair of bronzed columns with gilt metal capitals and standing on pedestals above ebonized lion's paw-carved feet. The sides with conforming inlay.
