Summary
Single fall pelerine/mantlet of brown silk, lined in glazed cotton. ? Sent to Killerton 1999 Piped edge to broad rounded collar and three inches from lower edge of garment. The back pointed at the centre. The front ends are lined with eau de nil silk. Note; This would have been worn both indoors and out of doors. The front ends would have been either secured at the front edge by a trimming, a bow, for example, or the ends crossed over under a belt.
