Summary
Spoon - Maiden head spoon, pricked in 1642. Gilt Knop. Paper printed label reads, ' MAIDEN SPOON WITH GILT KNOP. T.MATHEW BARNSTAPLE 1570. This needs checking - part of a set of six silver dessert spoons with patterned handles, 1693-4; a seal-top spoon, 1617, London (?), a seal-top spoon, 1617, 6 Apostle spoons, foreign (?), a trifid spoon, 1690-1720 and 7 various spoons; 15 in all. Chichester.
