Summary
A simulated rosewood open armchair, English, circa 1840. The rectangular back with turned uprights and three vertical spindles, all turned to simulate bamboo, the padded arms with scroll terminals and ring-turned front supports, fitted with squab cushions to back and seat, all covered in pink and white striped chintz, standing on ring-turned legs with brass castors.
