A mahogany kneehole desk, English, circa 1850. The rectangular top with lozenge-carved edge and three-quarter spindle gallery, above two drawers and a recessed cupboard flanked by pedestals applied with pagoda-shaped mouldings, each end with a pull-out slide, a dummy drawer and four true drawers, standing on bracket feet.
