A ceramic dish in plain white glaze with gilding around the rim. On the front of the dish there is a full colour transfer of six Allied flags incorporating a sunray pattern and garland with the words 'For Honour and Liberty'. The word 'Victory' sits between the flags. Underneath the flags is a black and white transfer of HMS Iron Duke. The dates 1914 & 1919 sit either side of the image. One of a four part set (with cup, saucer and mug), commemorating the Allied Victory at the end of the First World War. Made by Chelson China (a trade name for the New Chelsea Porcelain Co. Ltd) for Harrods, c.1919. HMS Iron Duke was the flagship of the Royal Navy at The Battle of Jutland during the First World War.
