Summary
A pair of hames for working horse harness. Solid wrought iron and flattened on one side. Two rings to each 'arm' and rings at each end, leather straps still attached. The hames fit around the collar of the horse, allowing the weight to be pulled from the shoulder.

Part of the collection from Tyn y Coed farmhouse and farm, purchased by the National Trust in 1991.
