English leather shot flask, c1850

Full description

English leather shot flask, c1850 Leather bag-shaped body with iron suspension ring (detached). Iron charger, marked with the makers name “Sykes” and calibrations “1½ oz,” & “1¼ oz”. Spring activated rocker-type cut-off.

Provenance

Formerly on loan but purchased on 26th September 2008 from Mrs Mary Henry on behalf of the Clive Family.
