Summary
A bird's eye maple tall chest of drawers, English, circa 1850. With projecting angular corners and with five graduated drawers between fluted and ring-turned corner columns, on a plinth base. The locks stamped 'C & C by Royal Letters Patent' for Cope & Collinson. Similar to, but not matching, the other high quality bird's eye maple bedroom and bathroom furniture at Nostell Priory.

Purchased by the National Trust by private treaty sale from Lord St Oswald in 2010.
