Bibliographic description

Second edition. 118 p. ; 14 cm. Bookseller's ticket: G. Wakeling, The Royal Library, Brighton. Loosely inserted card (p.17) colour illustrated floral design with red cross and text: Stand fast in faith. Reverse of card bears inscription: "To William Grey with love from Walter DD Maclagan. Sunday November 20th 1875." Provenance: inscribed on pastedown: "William Grey with Easter blessing from E.F. Easter 1867" [presumably William Grey, 9th Earl of Stamford (1850-1910), but could be his father]. Binding: publisher's red cross, blind embossed panel with cross, gold lettered. (Spine damaged, cloth torn.)
