Summary

Autograph letter signed by Edw. T. Nelson, Chairman on behalf of Hale Urban District Council, to the Earl of Stamford, dated: 26th October,1917, congratulating Lord Stamford on coming of age, and expressing the wish that "the friendship which has always existed between your predecessors and this District may long continue." Formerly 'Glazed bookcase 3rd drawer.'
