Summary
One of a pair of green silk Chinese slippers with brightly coloured embroidery in shades of pink, yellow, green and white and featuring birds in flight. The interior of each slipper is lined in cream cotton/linen on which is printed '6 1/2' in black, and is edged in black; the sole of each slipper is of a dark tan leather with the stitching clearly visible and bears the handwritten size '6 1/2' in black. The left slipper also bears a price label on which is handwritten '5/-'.
