Summary
Mat consisting of two embroidered rectangles stitched together and backed with blue fabric. The pattern is oriental in style on a predominantly black ground with the main picture sitting within a circular band; a purple lotus flower appears in each of the four corners outside the circle. The outer border features a black and gold Greek key pattern. The main design consists of a body of water, rocks and six emblems appearing in the sky. A similarly-embroidered bird/phoenix and red sun have been applied over the top.
