Summary
Large black and white reproduction of a photograph, card, The Langham Obelisk, Dunham Park; accompanied by (b) handwritten note, blue ink on blue paper, ' "An Artist's Reminiscences" by Walter Crane'. The Obelisk. 1714 was erected by 2nd Earl of Warrington in memory of his mother. Consists of a five-step base. Needle rises from an engraved pedestal reading "The Langham Grove Planted A.D. 1714 M.H.T." with moulded base and cornice.
