Summary

Large, flat, rectangular, brown paper package with cream paper label with brown and orange print for Chorlton & Knowles printers, Manchester. 'Urgent' and 'With Care' labels are also attached, as are rail labels. One of the address labels is typed to 'The Rt. Hon. Earl of Stamford, J.P. / Dunham Massey Hall / Altrincham / Cheshire' and also bears black ink, handwritten notes.

Stamford collection; devised to the National Trust by Roger Grey, 10th Earl of Stamford (1896-1976).
