Summary

Two short widthways iron mattress supports. A bed frame to which these belong, usually consists of two iron side rails, each with protrusions along their length onto which attach the widthways mattress supports, and two iron end rails, each with three protrusions onto which attach the long lengthways mattress supports.

Stamford collection; devised to the National Trust by Roger Grey, 10th Earl of Stamford (1896-1976).
