Summary

Collection of robins with metal springs for legs attached to metal clips. The body of the bird is made of a metal frame covered in painted fibrous textile and with paper wings and tail attached. Presumably designed to adorn a Christmas tree.

Stamford collection; devised to the National Trust by Roger Grey, 10th Earl of Stamford (1896-1976).
