Summary
Rectangular cream envelope, sealed, re-opened and missing its flap, and addressed in fine handwriting (black ink) to, 'The Rt Hon / Countess of Stamford / Llandaff House / Weybridge'. The London postmark is dated 3rd October 1903 and the red one penny stamp features King Edward VII. 'Flags' is handwritten on the front of the envelope in pencil and the envelope contains five tiny paper French flags on steel pins with black glass heads, and six Union flags on steel pins with black glass heads.
