Calling card for Mr. Rowland Kenney, Assistant Commissioner, British Mission to Poland; black print on white/cream card. One of a collection of calling cards contained in writing case, DUN/L/16. 'Mrs W M ... / 17 Acacia Road / St. John's Wood / N.W.' handwritten on the front of the card in pencil. 'write Mrs W. M. E... / c/o The Herald / Gough Square / Fleet St. EC. / for National Guilds com- / mentary on the Whitley Report' (handwritten in black ink on the reverse). John Henry Whitley, Liberal MP, was commissioned to write a report on the 'Relations of Employers and Employees' in 1917. Rowland Kenney was once editor of 'The Herald'.
