Summary
Calling card for O. Nippold, President de la Cour Supreme de Justice de la Sarre [President of the High Court of the territory of the Saar], Membre de l'Institute de Droit international [Institute of International Law], membre de l'Academie diplomatique internationale, Professeur a l'Academie de Droit internationale. 'Chateau Beaumaris, Sarrelouis' has been crossed out in blue/purple ink; black print on white/cream card. One of a collection of calling/business cards contained in writing case, DUN/L/16. Otfried Nippold was German-Swiss jurist, pacifist and internationalist as well as a prolific author and was one of the first to propose a League of Nations. 'anc. / with my best thanks' is handwritten on the front of the card in blue/purple ink.
