Summary
Calling card for Gonzague de Reynold, Professeur a l'Universite de Berne, Doyen de la Faculte de Philosophie, Membre et rapporteur de la Commission de cooperation intellectuelle de la Societe des Nations; black print on white/cream card. One of a collection of calling/business cards contained in writing case, DUN/L/16. On the reverse is a note, handwritten in black ink, beginning 'Cher Monsieur...', and ending 'Votre GR'. The note describes how Reynold is pleased that Roger, Earl of Stamford, is in Berne, invites him to visit him and his Countess and requests that he telephone to confirm. De Reynold is known today as having been a Swiss writer and historian.
