Summary
Calling card for Mr. Charles James Rhoads; black print on white/cream card. One of a collection of calling/business cards contained in writing case, DUN/L/16. Handwritten in pencil on the front is, '1914 So. Rittenhouse Sq. / Philadelphia'. Mr. C.J. Rhoads was the first governor of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. Rhoads' father was the first President of Bryn Mawr College (a women's liberal arts college) and it was at this institution that he became great friends with Woodrow Wilson who got his first training as a professor there.
