Summary
A short letter handwritten in black ink on cream notepaper, headed '64, INVERNESS TERRACE, / W.2' (printed in green) and dated 'January 24th 1934'. The letter reads, 'Dear Lady Stamford, / Thank you so much for the / invitation. I should love to come on the 4th. / I have just returned from a cock-tail party / at 6 York Street, chez Mr Macadam and his wife / whom he has recently brought back from America. / She seems a very nice person. My love to Roger. / With kind regards yours sincerely Graham Kent'. '4. Feb 7.45' is handwritten in black ink in a different hand in the top left corner. Part of a collection of letters contained within the pages of a well-used address book belonging to Penelope, Countess of Stamford, with red, linen-effect cover with impressed trellis pattern and tooling.
