Summary
Collection of Wimshurt's 'INVALID WEIGHING SCALE' record cards recording the gradual weight increase of Roger, 10th Earl of Stamford, one side of each pink and printed (in black) with information for, 'F. Wimshurst / Pharmaceutical Chemist / Devonshire Road / BEXHILL-ON-SEA'. The weight of the Earl recorded from the age of seventeen to twenty one on the white side of each: (a) '1913' and 'age 17' handwritten in pencil at the top, with the weights recorded in ink, 10st 5lb on 28th November and 10st 6lb 4oz on 5th December; (b) 12th April 1914, 10st 11lbs; (c) '1914' handwritten in pencil and 'age 19' handwritten in ink at the top, with the weight recorded in pencil, 10st 9lb 3oz, Nov/14, and his height recorded in pencil as 6ft 1" (d) '1914' handwritten in pencil and 'age 19' handwritten in ink at the top, with the weight recorded in pencil, 10st 13lb 1oz on 6th November (e) May 25th 1918, aged twenty one years and seven months, 11st 3.5oz.
