Summary
Wooden folding campaign bed (in poor condition) consisting of two side rails and an end rail, each with rebated top inside edge to which is tacked a shallow strip of canvas with rope holes along the long loose edge, and a second end rail with a long length of canvas attached to a rebated top inside edge, with rope holes around the three loose sides and joined to the shallow canvas strips with rope. There are four bed posts, each with a round upper section and square lower section with additional moulding around the feet. The lower sections are bolted to the end and side rails and the upper sections of the posts are attached to the bases by means of a hinge. At the top of each post is a metal collar and metal spike. Only one full upper post remains, a second is hinged to the base section but is missing the very top of its pole, a third post has both upper and lower post but they are no longer attached, and a fourth is missing its upper post entirely.
