Summary
Red-stained pine bed side rail, warped and now bent, with cut-out sections along the length of the rail in which slats would sit. There is a small, rectangular, horizontal slot on the side of the rail with the slat inserts, and a bolt (?) hole approximately a third of the way down the rail. One end of the rail is incised 'III' and the other end is incised 'VI'.
