Summary
One of a pair of red-stained bed side rails with cut-out sections along the length of the rail in which slats would sit. There is a bolt hole at each end of the rail (all bolts missing), and each rail is incised 'IIII' in the middle; (a) is also incised 'V' at the foot end and (b) VIII at the foot end.
