Summary
Red-stained bed side rail with cut-out sections along the length of the rail in which slats would sit. There is a bolt hole at each end of the rail (one bolt present), the rail is incised 'I' at one end and 'III' at the other end, and there is a cut-out piece in the middle, amongst the slat cut-outs, into which a central support may have been fitted.
