Summary
Rough oak bed side rail, the end joints positioned horizontally as opposed to the usual vertical position. There are two bolt/rope holes through the sides of the rail and two chiselled-out rectangles in the top, possibly in which to insert a head/foot board. There is a row of rusted tacks along the top rebated edge with fragments of textile trapped underneath.
