Summary
Softwood side rail part with slat inserts. This would once have been nailed/screwed to a side rail to convert the bed to which it belonged from a canvas mattress support to one with a slatted base. It is numbered '3' at one end and '4' at the other, handwritten in blue crayon. 'Oak Room' is written on the reverse in pencil.
