Summary
Oak side rail with one bolt hole at each end, cut-out slot at one end stretching for approx. one eighth of the length of the rail, and rebated top edge with canvas attached. The plain canvas, with rope holes around the loose sides, is tacked to the length of the rail from where the cut-out slot finishes. The rail is incised 'VI' and 'VII'.
