Summary

Black and white 'photograph of the Death Warrant of / King Charles I, which is in the Library / of the House of Lords. The signature / of Thomas Lord Grey is between those of / John Bradshaw and Oliver Cromwell'. This note by 10th Earl of Stamford is handwritten in black ink on a paper label on the reverse. An illegible picture framer's stamp also appears on the reverse. In a plain, narrow, black frame.

Stamford collection; devised to the National Trust by Roger Grey, 10th Earl of Stamford (1896-1976).
