Summary
Rectangular black cardboard box with white paper label with black print and containing an unopened tube of ointment for rheumatism, fibrositis and neuritis. Ung. "Spirosa" Co., an odourless and non-irritating anti-rheumatic and analgesic, manufactured by Frank A. Rogers, Oxford Street, London. Beige tube with green octagonal label marked 'THE OINTMENT' with black print and small metal screw cap. 'To rub into the stiff / joints / ... 1585 C... Stamford' handwritten on label. Contained on a bed of cotton wool. Some mould on tube and inside lid.
