Summary
Tall, rectangular, clear glass bottle with narrow neck, black plastic screw cap, white paper label with dark blue print for J.T. Holding & Son, Railway Street, Altrincham, and a second label, white with black print, 'SHAKE THE BOTTLE'. The first label reads 'The Mixture' and handwritten in blue ink (and partly printed), 'One teaspoonful to be / taken several times a day / as directed / The Countess of Stamford / W 52/12'. Contains a white powder, now clumped and coating the sides of the interior like a mosaic.
