Summary
Hexagonal green glass bottle, ribbed down two sides and with the embossed instruction' Not to be taken', and with the remains of a cork stopper in the neck. The paper label for J.T. Holding, Dispensing Chemist, 44 Railway Street, Altrincham (red print), reads (in black ink handwritting) 'The Inhalation. Menthol and Friars Balsam. One teaspoonful to a pint of boiling water. Lady Stamford'.
