Also includes an extract from a letter written in the trenches of the Aisne by Sir Horace Smith-Dorrien reading: 'The moment the order came to go forward there were smiling faces everywhere'. Published by the Parliamentary Recruiting Committee, London. Designed by W.H. Caffyn and printed by The Haydock-Cadle Co., London, S.E. Mounted on cardboard with blue and cream braid attached at the top for hanging.
