Damaged grey/green cardboard box with a handwritten note referring to three missing puzzle pieces and containing a wooden Pastime Puzzle, 'The Duel', by Parker Brothers Inc., Salem, Massachusetts, featuring a picture of a stagecoach at the scene of a duel (a). Inside the lid, printed in black and hadnwritten in pencil: '[sawed by] 02 / [polished and counted by] H / [inspected by] 25'.
