Summary
Board game, called 'Cycling' or 'A Cycling Tour', designed in England by Jap, published by JW Spear & Sons, New York, and produced at their works in Bavaria. There would originally have been four model lead cyclists (two ladies and two gentlemen), thirty six picture cards, dice and an instruction leaflet, though the game was never supplied in one box containing all components. The aim of the game was to begin at the start and move along the board to the finish according to several rules along the way. This is a folding cardboard board with green ground, narrow yellow border, white and cream squares and colourful pictures including spanners, guns, matches, policemen, etc.
Provenance
